Founded Travel Agents Association of Sikkim - nurtured it while holding various important posts and contributed large extent of information wholeheartedly in Sikkim's Tourism Master Plan. He also served as an elected member of Gram Panchayat (Local self Government). He also founded Sikkim Table Tennis Association, Sikkim Nature Photographers' Society and is one of the founder of Sikkim Ornithological Society.

Trekking Programme was organized for fifty five school children ranging in
six years to fifteen years of age from Banglore, all children trekked to
the height of 4030 meters in Sikkim Himalaya successfully. Also conducted
birdlife and its conservation programme in collaboration with Sikkim
Development Foundation and Sikkim Ornithological Society as part of Camp
